Coffee Essentials

In the upcoming third-wave of café culture–of celebrity baristas and latte art, independent café and the plaid-clad legions that follow it, and the never-ending “latest coffee craze”–it is high time that coffee should once again be purely enjoyed for what it is, minus the million decorative accoutrements.     Where in Toronto can I get a hand grinder? I’ve never come across one.

    @red army: The grinder illustrated is a Hario “Canister C” Ceramic Burr Hand Grinder. Green Beanery
    carries this as well as other Hario products. Cafes like Dark Horse and Te Aro, I believe, also carry them.
