Who knew chickens and swine could look so sweet?
Kispiac is a small, charming bistro in Budapest, Hungary that is nestled in among one of Budapest’s most famous farmers’ markets. The name Kispiac even means “small market” in Hungarian.
To capture the charm of the Kispiac bistro, designer Eszter Laki gave the restaurant a quaint but modern branding design. Laki used natural materials in beige tones for the paper bags, jar labels, sandwich wraps and coffee cups, such as one might find at a farmers’ market. She then stamped a pattern of small onions, carrots, roosters and pigs onto the beige backgrounds in black ink for a look that is reminiscent of the drapes in a farm kitchen.
