“Consumables” Series by Jamie Chung

We look at food everyday, but sometimes we forget to take in the natural beauty of what we’re eating.

New York based photographer Jamie Chung’s “Consumables” series highlights the raw delicacy of various foods including an array of fruits and vegetables, a radiant lobster, a crispy drumstick and beverages like coffee and wine among other things.

Chung’s angles and use of hues really showcase the food in a (literally), whole new light. His mouthwatering photographs transform the food aesthetically, allowing you to rediscover small details about some of the most simple things we eat.
