Delicious City Print Designs

They call it New York cheesecake for a reason and it isn’t named Yorkshire pudding for nothing.

Roni Lagin, a creative director from Philadelphia has created Delicious City Prints, a collection of posters that celebrate a few of the world’s major cities, such as London, Paris, Chicago and Los Angeles, and the foods that they are famous for, like black pudding, deep dish pizza, fried clams and pierogies. Each print is bright and colourful and the font is modern and bold, making them the perfect wall decorations for any urban dwelling.

If they made a delicious city print for your town or city (Toronto, perhaps?) what do you think would be on it?

My mother’s from Rippon, England and she would indignantly protest at Yorkshire Puddings being named as from London! Although I live in Montreal so it’d have to be a bagel!

These are great, they hark back to the old woodblock event posters of the late 19th Century. I think London’s maroon/red works best.
