The marriage of fashion, food and print is being brought to life in the pages of the first issue of Alla Carta.
Alla Carta is the Italian fashion and food publication from Yara De Nicola, Fabiana Fierotti and Valentina Barzaghi. Alla Carta recently published its first issue, inside which you can find recipes, utensil designs, interviews with Italian chef, Davide Oldani, and Italian fashion designer, Alessandro Dell’Acqua, and stark, stunning editorial photography.
The name Alla Carta appears to be a play on the words à la carte, which means a restaurant menu in French, and carta, which means paper in Italian. The creators of Alla Carta are not only interested in bringing together fashion and food, but in paying homage to paper and print, which they say is “the most precious of mediums.”
