Ever wondered if there is more fat in brie or blue stilton? Whether chocolate fudge cake or lemon drizzle has more carbs? If a vodka and cranberry has more calories than a gin and tonic?
You could always look at the empty package or find out the naughty nutritional info yourself, but Fat or Fiction is a much more fun way to wallow in the guilt of last night’s Guinness and French fries. This infotograph (which is an infographic in the form of a photograph) shows the fat, calories, carbs and protein in a handful of your most indulgent drinks, snacks, desserts and cheeses. Just hover over the thick slice of chocolate fudge cake or the shot of Jägermeister to find out just how bad you’ve been.
Fat or Fiction is the product of designer and photographer, Anna Brooks; designer, Christina Winkless; and creative technologist, David Paul Rosser. They say that Fat or Fiction isn’t intended to guilt trip you for eating that second slice of coffee cake or for finishing that bottle of white wine, but to let you make eating choices in an appealing, light-hearted way.
The photography and design of Fat of Fiction is gorgeous enough that it might just make you forget about the bag of wine gums you inhaled the other day.
