The Vice series Fresh Off the Boat takes one straight-talking foodie on the road.
Eddie Huang is hitting the streets to meet up with other food-obsessed personalities to hunt, cook, eat, and talk food in a raw, uncut voice that is not often heard.
In the second episode, Huang travels to San Francisco’s Mission District to hang out with the girls from Rice Paper Scissors, the guerilla cooking operation that brings friends together to cook anywhere they can. The group grills up some octopus on the sidewalk and talks about what Asian food culture means to them.
