Pop quiz – What’s the opposite of Walmart?


If you answered anything other than Labour and Wait, well you might have an argument of your own but we strongly believe that this fine store in East London’s market district is indeed the antithesis to that ‘big box’.

Yes they have similar categories, like “Kitchen” “Outdoor” etc but the goods within these sections are meant to last and become personal classics rather than simply replace broken items and eventually become trash.
Owners Rachel Wythe-Moran and Simon Watkins are passionate about slowly curating a collection of goods that go beyond the fickleness of trends. We could all benefit from such a patient approach.
