A lover of all things old school, French illustrator Laura Manfre has painted a colourful collection of retro foods.
Manfre is like a collector, painting things she loves and things that catch her attention, from kitschy kettles to the original Heinz ketchup bottles. Her watercolour foods are painted to look a little out of proportion and are vibrant and fun with splatters of colour to make a slice of orange look juicer than ever.
She will soon publish her own cookbook, which will be illustrated with her mouth-watering watercolour art. We think Manfre’s cookbook art would like rather darling in a diner or a vintage kitchen.
