My Cooking Diary is the blog of Sharon Hwang, a graphic designer from San Francisco, California, and her photographer boyfriend, Mike Matas. My Cooking Diary is made up of the fresh, delicious dishes that Hwang cooks, like salmon and spring vegetables or kale and quinoa salad, and a few of the meals that she enjoys out in San Francisco, like dim sum and breakfast bagels.
Hwang’s cooking has us inspired to get in the kitchen but we are busy admiring the simply gorgeous drawings, paintings and photos on her blog and the short film that the couple has put together. In it Hwang picks fresh basil, peels tomatoes, chops onions, kneads the dough to make pasta noodles, then places the tray of lasagna in the oven and sets the timer, inviting you to get a taste of the finished dish at her blog.
