New Wave Whisks

Traditional metal whisks are all function and no fun. This one from Norman-Copenhagen is both and then some.

The Beater whisks from Norman-Copenhagen were inspired by a pack of drinking straws that had been gathered together in the middle. Like the straws, the Beater whisks can be gathered using an opening and closing ring that slides up and down the whisk. Not only does this make for an artful, innovative look but for also for saving space in the kitchen drawer or on the wall. And, best of all, the Beater whisks come in lots of colours: light blue, nude, lavender, pink, mint, navy, white and grey with other coloured rings like orange and green.

“We are driven by the romantic notion that a designer invents products aimed at making the world a better place,” the designer says. “Our whisk is simple and sculptural in form and function and we have made it as space-saving as possible without compromising on the design.”
