Porcelain Ramen Cups by Nendo

As a teenager, sometimes when starvation would set in and a frantic search through the cupboards would ensue, finding a pack of Ramen Noodles was a wondrous joy. Now, Nendo has taken the savior of my youth and  squished, pulled and sliced it into distorted porcelain versions of itself.

Momofuku Ando, the inventor of Chicken Ramen has a museum in Japan and commissioned Nendo, one of the top Japanese design agencies to develop these new style, porcelain souvenirs. My personal fave is the slim oval one, only because I’d always try and bend the styrofoam ones into this position without breaking it.
