We’re not sure what it is, but alcohol just lends itself so well to smashed, broken, destroyed art.
Beer Garden is the latest collection of photos from Brooklyn photographer, Jonathon Kambouris. Each photo shows a beer can that has been drank empty, crushed and thrown on the ground. Kambouris then rescued the fallen soldiers from the streets of Brooklyn and from other places around the world and photographed them against a plain white background to show the saturated colours, broken shapes and filthy textures of the cans.
The photos are rough and gritty and there is something about them that has our attention.
