Teacups Get a Tipping, Tilted Design

A tipping teacup may sound like a disaster waiting to happen but this one will actually make your morning tea more calming.

The tipping teacups, which were designed by Laura Bougdanos and Vesa Jääskö of Magisso, a company from Finland, have a minimalist design but are full of functionality.

Not only does the bottom give the tipping teacups a quirky, off-kilter look but it allows you to steep your loose leaf teas without ending up with a mouthful of bitter tea leaf dregs. Just place the tea leaves in the small part of the tea cup with the mesh screen, pour in the water and tilt the teacup so that the tea leaves are covered with water. Once the tea is steeped, just tilt the cup the other way so that the leaves are out of the water.
